El Centro de Turismo Rural Fabrica Cabrera fue el primer alojamiento turístico de la península climatizado con energías renovables. Sus promotores, Raquel Rodriguez Otero y Alberto Jiménez "Revolware", empiezan a dar cuerpo al proyecto en 1998 inaugurándose en 2001. Desde entonces el proyecto ha recibido diversas menciones y el seguimiento de la prensa que a continuación se detalla.
Fabrica Cabrera Rural Tourism Center was the first tourist accommodation in Spain and peninsula heated by renewables energy. Its promoters, Raquel Rodriguez Otero and Alberto Jimenez "Revolware", began to give shape to the project in 1998 inaugurating it in 2001.
